Clinic, hygieneand medicines
From 10 May 2015, DFY ran a field clinic in Panchkanya VDC, Nuwakot, for 13 days and treated more than 1,000 patients in hilltop villages.
The team ran health and hygiene orientations, distributed 19 menstrual hygiene packs to adolescents, and held a maternal and child health session for 13 health workers.
With assistance from Direct Relief International, DFY purchased more than INR 1.62 crore (USD 261,290) of medicines and distributed them to hospitals affected by the earthquake.
Eleven years later, we returned to the same valleys. See our 2026 flood response.
